About Me

 

I grew up learning the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and pride in what you build from my dad, JR—an entrepreneur who believed in doing things the right way and doing them well. From a young age, I wasn’t just taught how to fix things—I was taught how to understand them, improve them, and take ownership in every detail.

Over time, that foundation turned into something bigger.

What started as a passion for building has grown into a business rooted in purpose. Shadow Contractor isn’t just about transforming homes—it’s about building a life for our family and creating something meaningful for our daughters.

In July 2019, that purpose became deeply personal when our daughter Roe (“Roe Roe”) was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Since then, everything we do has taken on greater meaning. We are proud supporters of Breakthrough T1D, and a portion of our work is driven by a desire to support the search for a cure and bring awareness to families like ours.

I take a very personal approach to every project. I want to truly understand your vision, your needs, and your budget. I’ll walk you through different options and scenarios so you can make the best decision for your home and your family. Whether it’s a full renovation or a smaller project, my goal is always the same—deliver quality work, build lasting relationships, and create spaces that feel like home.
