John Richardson grew up in the construction industry. His dad JR, an entrepreneur himself, was his role model. By purposely breaking things around their home or at the shop and teaching John how to fix it, JR was able to instill a life lesson that would be the foundation for his future success. “You’ll never pay someone else to repair something you can fix yourself.”

Over the years John has branched out into many areas. “My dad taught me how to do so much that I love. I want to build homes. I want to make the ordinary and broken things beautiful. I never want to tell a customer I can’t do something!” As a result, Shadow Contractor has built a name for itself by “letting the work speak for itself.” John is now into everything from residential & commercial property needs, to power washing, and snow removal. He has created a loyal and dedicated team and has spent countless hours teaching them the tricks of the trade.

John has a very personal approach and wants to truly understand his customers needs. He takes the time to educate his customers by walking them through various scenarios and providing the costs associated with each option. John understands the value of the investment his customers are making and puts building trust and rapport at the top of his priority list. There is no job too big or too small for him and he has prided himself on the satisfaction of his customers over the years.
